The value of taking stock
People have known long before the benchmark studies of the 1960’s
that it is in reviewing our life that we find peace with our death.

The telling of our stories and experiences have an explicit therapeutic value and effect on us. When we run our mind down the rose stem of our life, we smooth out the thorns with realizations and, many times reconciliations. In reviewing life with one trained to walk beside you, sometimes simply as a companion and sometimes a facilitator, you receive the most valuable gift of all; increased acceptance and well-being.

I serve you from a unique perspective.
I have been given notice for the end of my life twice. Once due to complex heart issues, and again due to complications during treatment for a rare and aggressive cancer.
I have spent months in hospitals and rehab, and experienced a lot medically.
I have said my goodbyes, built my own legacy, and found the value and ultimate meaning in my life. I am currently seven years past my first life expectancy and doing all I can to keep cancer at bay,
but I am reconciled.
I am honored to work with guests at the Toni and Trish house in Auburn, MI. as a caregiver and as a legacy doula, as the situation dictates. It is said that I am easy to confide in, empathetic, nonjudgmental and trustworthy; I'm that lady that knows your life story after a flight together!
I would be honored to hear yours.
